Don't Forget Your Flexible Spending Account Election
If you want to participate in a health care or dependent care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) in 2027, you must make a new election during Open Enrollment. FSA elections do not automatically carry over from year to year.
If you do not make an FSA election during Open Enrollment, your 2027 FSA contribution amount will be $0.
Review Your HSA Contribution
If you're enrolled in a High Deductible Health Plan and contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA), Open Enrollment is a good time to review your contribution amount for the coming year and make any desired changes.
Think About the Year Ahead
Before making your elections, consider any changes that may affect your benefit needs next year, including:
- Expected health care visits or procedures
- Prescription medication needs
- Changes to your family or household
- Financial goals and savings opportunities
- Premium costs and out-of-pocket expenses
