How to Enroll (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Review Your Benefits

Review the Bird Electric Craft 2027 Benefits Guide and compare your plan options before making your benefit elections.

Step 2: Complete and Submit Your Enrollment Form

Open Enrollment runs Oct. 19-Nov. 13.
Deadline: 5 p.m. Central time on Nov. 13.

Most benefit elections will carry over automatically. However, if you want to change your current elections or continue or enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for 2027, you must complete and submit an enrollment form to your HR representative by 5 p.m. Central time on Nov. 13.

Important: HSA and FSA elections do not carry over from year to year. If you want HSA or FSA coverage for 2027, you must complete and submit an enrollment form by the enrollment deadline.

Step 3: Review Your Confirmation Statement

If you authorized electronic delivery, you will receive your confirmation statement by email at your personal email address. Otherwise, HR will provide a printed copy after your enrollment form is processed.

It is your responsibility to review your confirmation statement and ensure it reflects the benefits you intended to elect. If you identify an error, contact your HR representative immediately.

You cannot make benefit election changes after Open Enrollment closes unless you experience a qualifying life event.

Step 4: Verify Dependents

If you enroll new dependents, watch for an email from HMS (VerifyOS) with instructions to complete dependent verification.
