How to Enroll in Benefits
2027 Open Enrollment for BVCI Professionals
Open enrollment is your annual opportunity to review your benefits and make changes for the upcoming year. Review the information and steps below to understand any actions required and complete your enrollment by the deadline.
Open Enrollment Dates: November 2 through November 13, 2026
You must submit your benefit elections through PeopleSoft Employee Self Service by 5 p.m. Central Time on November 13, 2026.
Important: You must take action if you want to:
- Change your current benefit elections for 2027
- Enroll in or continue a Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Enroll in or continue a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (Health Care FSA)
- Enroll in or continue a Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (Dependent Care FSA)
- Enroll in identity theft and credit monitoring service for 2027
HSA and FSA elections do not automatically carry over to the next plan year. If you wish to participate in either plan for 2027, you must actively enroll by 5 p.m. Central Time on November 13, 2026.
Black & Veatch is also introducing a new identity theft and credit monitoring provider for 2027, with new plan and coverage tier options. If you want this benefit in 2027, you must actively enroll and select your preferred coverage option during Open enrollment.
If you do not need to make changes to your benefits, no action is required.
Step 1: Review Your 2027 Benefits Guide
Before making your elections, review your 2027 Black & Veatch Benefits Guide to understand your benefit options and any plan changes for the upcoming year.
Step 2: Enroll Between November 2 and November 13
Log in to PeopleSoft Employee Self Service and submit your benefit elections by 5 p.m. Central Time on November 13, 2026.
Step 3: Review Your Confirmation Statement
PeopleSoft sends an email with your confirmation statement the day after you submit your elections.
Review your confirmation statement carefully to ensure the elections you submitted are accurate. If anything is incorrect, contact the U.S. HR Support Center for support.
Important: Consider your benefit elections carefully. You will not have an opportunity to change your elections until the next open enrollment period – unless you have a qualifying event or a change in family status.
